A feline that was discovered wandering without a clear direction stumbled upon compassionate individuals who refused to abandon him. Their kindness and dedication transformed his existence.
As Radia and her mother were driving home one rainy day, they came across a bedraggled cat wandering along the roadside. The feline looked drenched, shabby, and cold, and was just a few feet away from their home. Radia got out of the car to approach the cat, while her mother quickly retrieved a carrier. However, the feline was timid and hid under a nearby vehicle. But, with persistence and some tempting treats, the cat eventually emerged from its hiding place, too famished to resist the food.
One rainy day, a cat was discovered outside and taken to the vet for assessment. Fortunately, he had stumbled upon the ideal location at the ideal moment. Sheeta and Co is a small animal rescue group run by Radia, her mother, and sister, Zahraa, in Kuwait, where they work to assist stray animals in their neighbourhood through volunteer work.

A feline named Appa had an eye infection and ear mites, but Sheeta and Co provided him with the appropriate medical treatment. Unfortunately, no microchip was detected, and there were no owners inquiring about him.
Zahraa mentioned, “His coat was oily, and he looked dirty. Due to his time spent outdoors, he was anxious. It was no surprise that no one came forward to claim him as pet abandonment is rampant in Kuwait.”
Jen, who goes by the handle @pokeypotpie, shared a heartwarming story about her family taking in a cat named Appa. Upon arriving at their home, Appa seemed withdrawn and kept his eyes closed most of the time. He wasn’t grooming himself and didn’t show any interest in playing. Despite this, he allowed the family to pet him and even purred when given attention. It was clear that Appa needed some TLC and the family was happy to provide it.
Jen, who goes by the username @pokeypotpie, shared a heartwarming story about Appa, a street dog who appeared to be exhausted. However, with the love and care from Jen and her friends, Appa began to feel safe and comfortable, and even started seeking affection from humans. They did everything they could to cheer him up, including massages and giving him a comb which he really enjoyed.

When City Kitties DC offered their support, Jen stepped up to become a foster volunteer for Appa. The lucky feline traveled across the ocean with another rescue cat named Harvey to arrive at his new temporary home. Having a playful companion like Harvey brought out Appa’s youthful spirit, making him eager to settle into a forever home of his own.

The furry monarch quickly made himself at home, ruling over the place with his adorable charm and loving personality.

Sir Lewis is a cat who loves being close to his humans. His purring motor starts up whenever he’s petted, and he’s been known to plop down onto the floor to soak up all the love he can get. When he takes a nap, he likes to be curled up next to his humans, touching them with his paw. This sweet kitty truly cherishes his human companions.

Aside from snoozing, Sir Lewis loves having his cheeks rubbed, engaging in a game of “soccer” with a tennis ball, and providing “assistance” at work by commandeering the big chair or lounging on a laptop. He’s even become an expert at trapping unsuspecting victims with his belly.
Alyson expresses how delightful it has been to witness Sir Lewis’ personality unfold. His playful and amiable nature shines through as he enjoys playing and chasing after his toys. Sir Lewis is also known to be quite insistent when it comes to his meals, often waking Alyson up with a demanding meow next to his food bowl in the morning.
