Fans of The Voice got a special treat on Tuesday’s season finale when Jennifer Lopez dropped by to perform her new single On My Way.
The 52-year-old singer was a vision in a white dress as she sang the emotional ballad, which is featured in her upcoming romantic comedy Marry Me.
The actress was joined on stage at Universal Studios Hollywood by guitarist Lukas Nelson, the son of country music legend Willie Nelson.
Jennifer looked lovely in the tightly pleated dress, which featured a high slit to showcase her tanned and toned legs.
The sleeveless ensemble including a cape trailing behind her, and she stood tall thanks to as pair of knee-high white platform boots.
The Hustlers star wore her caramel-colored hair parted down the middle and cascading down her shoulders.
She added some sparkle to her look thanks to a gold cuff bracelet.
The performance began somberly and shrouded in darkness, as Nelson stoodaop a staircase and began plucking notes on his guitar.
As the lights began to lit up the stage, Jennifer was revealed to be sitting against a baby grand piano that was set at an angle.
She rose up to sit straight on her bench and began to sing, before rising to her feet.
The clip doubled as promotion for Marry Me, as scene from the film were project on the pianos littering the stage, some of which were turned on their side.
As the performance neared its end, she ascended the staircase until she was standing next to Lukas, who wore a cowboy hat and a brown suede jacket with fringe on the sleeves.
The actress stars in Marry Me as the pop singer Kat Valdez, who plans to marry her fiancé (Colombian singer Maluma) during a concert that will be live-streamed to her fans across the globe.
But after learning that her fiancé has been cheating on her with her assistant just before the start of her performance, she decides on the spot to marry someone in the audience.
Owen Wilson plays Charlie Gilbert, who happens to be in the audience and mistakenly holding a sign reading Marry Me, which Kat takes as a sign that he should be her new husband.
The rom-com was delayed several times by the ongoing pandemic, though it’s currently set for a Valentine’s Day release in 2022.
