Shakira was recently recognized as the very first Latin Woman of the Year by Billboard in April. She was also acknowledged at the Mujeres Latinas en la Müsica gala the next month. This event celebrated the accomplishments and contributions of women in Latin music.
Shakira was invited by Billboard to participate in their Latin Music Week from October 2 to 6. During the Q&A session, she sported an impressively long hairstyle that caught many people’s attention.
We couldn’t help but admire the loose waves in her hair and wondered how she managed to achieve them. Knowing that her natural hair texture is curly, it was evident that she didn’t just wash and go before attending the event. The texture appeared to be effortlessly styled and lived-in, which could either be the result of old curls losing their volume or Shakira’s own version of relaxed water waves.
